I’m Akilah.
Curiosity brought
me here.

I care about people, the lives they are trying to build and the conditions that shape their choices.

My work has taken me through psychology research, education, domestic violence counseling, and hospital policies and staff training. Each chapter changed the questions I wanted to ask.

Today, I bring those experiences to therapy, education and consulting, with warmth, candor and a strong sense of justice.
